About us
We are six second year Events and Leisure Marketing students from Bournemouth University who have been given the amazing opportunity to work alongside The Great Exhibition of Boscombe. This organisation, who works in association with The Arts by the sea festival, has put the sunny seaside destination of Bournemouth on the map as an area with a growing local network of creative talent.
Our brief:
- To create an inspiring event that showcases the ever growing, truly outstanding network of local talent that the Bournemouth and Boscombe areas has grown.
- To raise awareness of The Arts Award, a scheme recently launched by The Great Exhibition of Boscombe, that offers young people the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification in the creative activities they are already taking part in.
Our Event:
- Showcase the BEST artists, musicians, animators and creative business’ in the area.
- Develop the connections between local artists, Arts University Bournemouth and Bournemouth University by holding an event that welcomes all. There really is an incredible amount of talent in the area!!
- Encourage participation in The Arts Award by holding an interactive arts experience that will show young people what can be achieved by being creative!
